RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain websites, ensuring functionality and optimal user experience.
• Create and update web content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
• Monitor website performance, conduct regular testing, and resolve any technical issues.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather website requirements and provide technical support.
• Ensure website compliance with accessibility and security standards.
• Conduct regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor website analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage domain registration, hosting, and server configuration.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a webmaster or in a similar web development role.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
• Strong understanding of website architecture, usability, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
• Experience with website analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in web development, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with graphic design and image editing tools.
• Knowledge of server-side scripting languages such as PHP or Python.
• Understanding of web accessibility and WCAG guidelines.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of website security and data protection best practices.
