Video Editor

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit raw footage and assemble video content to create compelling and engaging videos.
• Trim and rearrange footage to ensure the flow and continuity of the video.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, audio adjustment, and other editing techniques.
• Incorporate visual effects, transitions, and graphics to enhance the storytelling.
• Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand project objectives and deliver results accordingly.
• Select and integrate suitable music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the video.
• Manage and organize video files and maintain a structured workflow.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any concerns or feedback.
• Ensure video projects are completed within the assigned timeline.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software, and trends.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a video editor or in a related role.
• Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of video composition, storytelling, and pacing.
• Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects.
• Ability to work with different video formats and resolutions.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Familiarity with sound editing and design.
• Knowledge of video formats and specifications for web and social media platforms.
• Experience in editing different types of videos (e.g., commercials, corporate videos, social media content).
• Proficiency in other video editing software or plugins.
• Portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.
