RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and customize Shopify websites to meet client requirements.
• Configure and optimize the Shopify platform for improved performance and user experience.
• Install and configure Shopify apps and extensions to enhance website functionality.
• Collaborate with clients or project stakeholders to gather website requirements.
• Design and implement Shopify themes, templates, and layouts.
• Customize the look and feel of Shopify websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Set up and manage product catalogs, collections, and inventory.
• Ensure seamless integration of payment gateways and shipping methods.
• Perform quality assurance testing to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Shopify websites.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in developing and customizing Shopify websites.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
• Familiarity with Shopify themes and theme customization.
• Experience with Shopify app installation and configuration.
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and online retail workflows.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Shopify certification or relevant training.
• Experience with Shopify Plus or enterprise-level Shopify projects.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for e-commerce websites.
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
• Understanding of web design principles and user experience (UX) design.
• Experience with third-party integrations, such as ERP or CRM systems.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Portfolio showcasing previous Shopify projects.
